Beide wurden von Arnold Heres entwickelt. Wie man an den Bildern gut erkennen kann ist der Scylla baugleich mit den Sphinx Geräten! Aufgrund des Alters (Baujahr 1994) habe ich das gute Stück vom Fachmann überholen lassen. In Zuge dessen habe ich mich bei der Revision für deutlich hochwertigere Bauteile entschieden. - Kondensatoren von BlackGate, Elma Silmic II und Nichicon Fine Gold. - Koppelkondensatoren von Audyn Plus Cap. - Weiter Folienkondensatoren von Mundorf und SoniCap. - Diverse Widerstände wurden in Mundorf Typen gewechselt. - Die LS Klemmen sind durch WBT Typen ersetzt worden. I am the second owner, I had the first owner ship the unit directly to Rogue after I purchased it in late 2022 so that they could install the HT bypass and give it a once over. I also had them return it to me in original shipping materials, so both interior and exterior boxes have only been used for shipping once and are in excellent condition. Conservatively a 9/10. I could not find a single mark or flaw on the unit, and I tried to get close ups of all angles to hopefully demonstrate that. This unit has been great, just want to switch things up a bit. I used it to push primarily Magnepans and Vandersteens, and it did so with zero effort. Rated at 100wpc @ 8 ohms and 200wpc @ 4 ohms, so theres plenty in the tank. The speaker binding posts were upgraded before I purchased the unit, but the work appears to be very well done and the functionality and quality of the posts themselves is excellent. There are also two sets of RCA outputs: one variable, if you wanted to connect a subwoofer (or subwoofers) or external amplifier, and one fixed, if you wanted to run a line out to a recording setup.
