Spendor BC1 Incredible Classics!. Selling these beautiful sounding BC1s I dont need to say much as you already know why you are looking at them. One of the best sounding vintage speakers with the reviews and the cult following to vouch. In fully working condition - sound so good!. Please study all pictures - have some unfortunate age related marks as expected, badges missing from grilles but easily sourced and stuck back in place. These are keepers I wish I had the room to keep them, I was going to fully restore and make better than new but I genuinely dont have the room. Other than the cabinetry marks all drivers are in full working condition and sound awesome. I wont be removing the grilles as they are fitted in too snug and have read once they are off they never sit back properly or you can damage them. Purchased new in August 2019, these highly regarded Spendors are in perfect ‘as new’ condition. The 2/3s are currently priced at £4,350.00. I am including the dedicated Hi-Fi Racks Fortis stands, purchased soon after, currently priced at £761.93 (See photo one) total value being £5111.93. Everything comes in original boxes. The speaker grills are of course included. Better than ex-dem specimens, these speakers are absolutely flawless and like buying brand new. EXTRAS As you will see from the pictures, there are four large boxes, the speakers being particularly heavy, and it would be virtually impossible to co-ordinate a delivery, it will therefore be necessary for the buyer to collect the items from my home. For the inconvenience, I am keeping the price very low, and including, free of charge, my own workshop constructed tailor-made speaker stands, made while I waited for the Fortis stands. They are made from solid mahogany (for the pillars) and bamboo for the upper and lower supports. (See pictures). They have screw columns for spikes and work an absolute treat providing improved base definition. I ended up using these most of the time, but you may prefer the Fortis stands which provide slight improvements in the upper midrange. I am also including 2x4 Soundcare Superspikes which will fit either the Fortis Stands or my workshop stands. Personally, I prefer them with the workshop stands, the fortis stands come with their own spikes. The Superspikes would set you back around £120.00 Finally, I include 8 (2x4) Pro-Ject ‘Damp it’ absorber feet, which will work perfectly with either sets of speaker stands or underneath components providing an extra touch of refinement.
