Spendor 15/1 Prof. Lautsprecher Gebrauchter Zustand. Bei einem Bass ist die Sicke und die Beschichtung erneuert. Ein Basstreiber ist älter als der andere. Verbaut sind 2x WDR 15/1 Bass Unit MKI und MKIII und 2x Audax HD12X8D25 Hochtöner. Die Lautsprecher klingen zurückhaltend und leise. Der optische Zustand ist eher gebraucht mit Kratzern auf dem Holz. Up for auction is an original pair of Spendor LS3/5a monitor speakers. They are 15 OHM, with sequential serial numbers 11 and 12, making them among of the first pair of Spendors sold in the US. The production date of March 1982 is stamped on the inside of the speakers. I have upgraded the original speaker taps to WBT units, a significant investment. I included a picture of the original next to the new WBT which speaks for itself. This upgrade provided noteworthy sonic improvement. The LS3/5a is one of the most famous and highly regarded monitors ever produced. Perhaps the best indication of this is they have been in virtually continuous production since the early 1970s. Designed and manufactured in Great Britain for the BBC specifically for on-site broadcast monitoring, they are extremely durable and highly accurate through-out all but lowest frequencies. Add a subwoofer and you have a system that is competitive with others costing many times more. I would add that I have owned at least 6 pairs of LS3/5as over the years, most recently Falcon Gold Badge versions. The Falcons are my favorites, but these Spendors play right with them. Nur noch sehr selten zu finden!Spendor 15/1 Prof. , für die BBC entwickelte Kontroll und Abhörlautsprecher. Auf max. +/- 0,5 dB paarweise abgeglichenmit fortlaufender Serien Nummer. Diese Monitore werden ineinigen Studios immer noch, wenn vorhanden, als Referenzmonitoreeingesetzt. Zu den Teilen:Grundsätzlich sind die beiden Unverbastelt, im absoluten Original Zustand.Optisch sehr gepflegt, das Furnier ist tadellos, keine Kratzer,Abschürfungen, Macken bis auf die eine kleine Stelle siehe Fotos.Die Abdeckung hat den Zahn der Zeit nicht überlebt.Habe ich mal neu Bespannen lassen incl dem original Spendor Logo.Sieht sehr schick und stimmig aus!Technisch ohne Mängel, die Sicken des Tief/Mitteltöners könnten mal neu gemacht worden sein? Auf jeden Fall sind diese in sehr gutem Zustand.Die Audax Hochtöner ohne flüssige Bedämpfung klingen super, Eine Kalotte ist im unterem Bereich der Sicke etwas eingedrückt.Siehe Foto! Single Spendor LS3/5A White Belly 15 Ohm 4 Digit Serial 1024 Tested Working. This is a very rare Spendor LS3/5A. Its the only one of these Ive seen with a 4 digit serial number that doesnt have 0s in front of it. Unfortunately I only have the single speaker and not the pair. The cabinet is pretty rough and could use refinished. The main speaker has some sort of what appears to be an air separation on the cone that comes out from the white belly. If I had to guess Id imagine heat caused the top layer of the cone to life up from the layer beneath it. The speaker sounds great and as far as audio quality it is working as it should.
