Physical condition - very good *Project unit* When I got this unit the shafts on the toggle switches on the front were broken off. I have purchased exact replacements. Connected a 100hz tone to input and checked output on oscilloscope. Output increases with volume change and left/right gain knobs and waveform looks clear with no apparent distortion. No other testing was performed so assume some minor tuning/adjustments may or may not be necessary. Im not familiar enough with this type of kit to guarantee everything is in perfect working order. I have included information on this preamp from the manufacturers website in the photos. A simple search for tubes4hifi will get you to that website. I believe this amplifier has the remote volume control add-on, based on the volume screen on the front panel and the servo motor inside the unit. It DOES NOT include the remote. It is possible an email to the manufacturer may get one supplied to you, but thats just my assumption. Movement of the volume knob does change the readout on the screen, even without the remote.
