Its not a true 1/3 octave eq (it would need 31 bands per side for that), but skips every other third-octave above 1k. Still, theres plenty of control. All the sliders work, though some travel smoother than others. The outputs are 1/4 jacks, balanced or unbalanced. There are also unbalanced tape in and out jacks, so it seems the folks at Soundcraftsmen wanted to make this compatible with both pro audio and home stereo users. Each channel has its own tape in/out, roll-off, and eq in/out switches. This unit has some road rash, so I suspect it was used in a sound reinforcement environment rather than at home. Its a chunky 3U box with rack ears that are part of the front panel. Soundcraftsmen was well known for their high quality audio equipment way back when.
