It is still has 1 1/2 years left on the warranty. Even though the warranty is not transferable to you, I will give you my phone number and email and help you set up a warranty claim with Sony is anything goes wrong, which it shouldnt as this projector is like new, tested and 100% working. I just got this projector back from Sonys repair united radio and they replaced the whole lens unit. The iris was stuck. It has a brand new iris and lens unit in it now and they replaced a fan. Its as good as new. If for some reason 1 1/2 years down the road you need to send it in for repair I got your back. So dont worry you are covered. Just check my feedback. This is one of Sonys best lamp based projectors, you cant do better than this. The 715es is exactly the same. Its the holy grail of lamp based projectors. Sony VPL VW95ES Projector + Ceiling Mount + remote This was Sonys flagship 1080p projector in the pre 4k era and had an original srp of 5000! It still puts out a stunning image and supports 3d films (unlike many modern projectors) comes complete with 2 pairs of 3D glasses, back-lit remote and ceiling mount. This will come with 2 OEM bulbs complete with 2 housings, the new replacement bulb has 40 hours on it which is installed , the factory bulb and housing has 1,274 hours and can be used as a spare. These 4K Sony Projectors usually need a bulb swap at 1500 -2000 hours to maintain perfect picture quality. Replacement OEM bulbs can be ordered from Pureland Supply and are simple to install.
