Its from a non-smoking home and is in excellent condition. I recently replaced the bulb and only put maybe 20 hrs or so on it before I ended up buying a new 4K Sony projector. The bulb is rated for 2k hours and super easy to replace. Remote is also in excellent condition and works perfectly. Im also throwing in a few 3D Blu-ray discs and a pair of glasses since, sadly, newer models dont support 3D so I have no more use of them. The glasses worked last time I used them but that was years ago..so I cant make any guarantees about those or the discs (they dye fades on discs eventually). The PJ was used to throw a 120 image on a 1.1 gain screen and looks amazing. I still have the original box and packing so it should be safe in shipping. Its a large box and 28 lbs, though, so not cheap to ship depending on where its going.

Sony VPL HW40ES SXRD 1080p Projector Finally upgraded to a 4K projector, but this served me well. Had in dedicated home theater room until recently. Functions great, though will need a new bulb in the near future. Last bulb was replaced ~2.5 yrs ago from Pureland Supply.Msg to replace bulb/filter has appeared, and projector will shut off after an hour or two of use + red Lamp/Cover light will blink 3x. This happened to me last time, and when I replaced the bulb & filter, I had no problems. Below, I will attach the text from the manual for both indicators: LAMP/COVER flashes inred. (A repetition rate of 3flashes) ---> The lamp has reached the end of its useful lifespan. Replace thelamp. (1 page 57). The lamp has reached a high temperature. Wait until the lampcools, and then turn on the power again. Please replace the Lamp/Filter. ---> It is time to replace the lamp. Replace the lamp. (1 page 57). Also, replace the air filter too. Restart cleaning the ventilationholes (intake). If this message appears again after you replace the lamp andfilter, the lamp replacement process is not complete. Check thelamp replacement process. But just FYI, I am selling this as-is, old bulb, replace message, and all.
