Sony VRD-VC20 DVDirect Video Recordable DVD Recorder Drive - Tested. The unit has been fully tested and works great. Its in very good cosmetic condition with only some minimal wear from light use. Does not come with the power cable but as the unit only. The recorder will be well packaged and shipped quickly.

These are photos of the actual items you will receive. We do not copy an image from the manufacturers website and then send you a looks-like. As can be seen in the first video, Sonys VC20 DVDirect powers up and is still functioning as designed. We included copies of its application pages for frurther clarification of its applications. Basically, the device can record Composite, S-Video, and i.Link signals. It can also be used as an external Hard Drive for copying data directly from a computer via the USB port. The manual is availble on Sonys website. The original Sony power supply comes with this unit. I also recall that this DVDirect unit should be operated in a horizontal position, rather than in the vertical orientation as shown in the photos. During operation, the DVD disc is spinning at a considerable rate and will cause the unit to vibrate. If you simply lay the DVDirect unit flat on its side, the torque is displaced and the vibration will stop. In fact, there are four little rubber feet on the side to show that Sony recognized this problem.
