This Sony TC-WR99ES Dual Stereo Cassette Deck is a dual cassette deck made in Japan. It features Dolby B-C NR and HX PRO for improved audio quality. Ideal for collectors and audiophiles, this high-end cassette deck is a great addition to any audio setup. I tested this unit and the only thing I could find suspect is that I had to sometimes push the right forward play button on the right deck two or three times to get it to engage. Play works perfectly, just the switch is a little flaky at times. I imagine this is caused from the unit not being used for many years. All other switches work when pressed once. Record is amazing in all respects. There are many features and functions of this machine I dont know how to use. I tested the basic functions and thats the best I could do. Due to age, a long period of non-use, and the inability to test all the functions and features of this machine, it is offered for restoration and sold as is. This item does not work! It powers on but cassette doors do not open. There could be other issues. NO RETURNS ACCEPTED AS IS!

SONY TC-WR99ES Double Stereo Cassette Deck | Side B Needs Servicing. Side A functions perfectly with no problems. New belts have been installed as well. Side B does not open, needs repair. The plastic door in the middle has a broken hinge.
