Spins FFW/REW, pressing Play spins fast briefly then stops and makes noises. Did not try recording.*Deck A door closes/opens without cassette inside, but does not open when tape is inside.*Deck B opens/closes with or without cassette inside.*Light to normal signs or age, usem and wear. *As with all items for Parts or Repair there may be other possible unseen issues.*Sold AS-IS,SHIPPING: We have a 1-2 day handling period. This is a really nice late stage cassette deck from when cassette was still trying to battle it out with compact disk. as such this is one of the best players in modern times to have for playing old cassette tapes, or even recording your own mix tapes. this player has auto reversing built in which will flip the head around to play side B of your tape. as well as Dolby B and C noise reduction to remove tape hiss from your recordings. this player is being sold as is because I have no way to test it but it is in really nice shape cosmetically so it very well might work.
