The Details: - Powers up - Puts out a signal - Plays / Fast Forward & Rewind / Pause & Stop do operate but rewind stops randomly on its own. I didn’t test record because I forgot too. - Play also stops randomly but not as often as rewind. - All lights work. -Has some scratches on the shell. - All knobs work as they should. - The rear inputs/Outputs do work as they should. - The peak program meter lights up but I wasnt able to get it to operate, meaning when the cassette was playing the meter didn’t give a reading but the first set of light were on. (I may have not been operating correctly) - Tape counter works as it should. - Bias, Tape selector & Dolby NR knobs work as they should. - Line Out/Phones, & Mic inputs all work. I was unable to test the remote input because I don’t have a cable or remote. - The Cassette door opens as it should and the button operates as it should, but one has to hold the door closed until the latch SLOWLY falls into place. I am told that all of the above mentioned issues are related to possible crud buildup and the grease no longer serving its purpose. I am selling it as Parts/Not working for those reasons.
