The deck has 3 Dolby selections but even without Dolby, the recording sound is almost same as the source sound. The cosmetic conditions are fine not superior, you would see some scratch and dents.It is 3 head, closed loop dual capstan, 3 motor transport mechanism, ES series deck. Powers on . Cassette door motor runs when open/ close button is pushed. You can hear it , but door does not open . Buttons to switch source etc work , or at least the panel indicates that they do. None of the tape function buttons operate. Play, ff etc. Body is in excellent condition . Not notably scratched scuffed etc . Display panel face is in excellent shape. Cosmetically it is a very good unit . Priority mail is recommended . Ups is listed as an option but we advise against it. We have found priority to be generally safer. We will , of course ship with whichever you prefer .
