Any issues just contact me and we can make it right, This Sony TC-K501R is an auto-reverse stereo cassette deck with Dolby B and C noise reduction, it was first sold by Sony in 1985 with a manufacturer suggested retail price of USD $450. The main features of the Sony TC-K501R are: 2 heads, tape type selection and capable of handling normal, chrome and metal tapes. Tape eject is operated mechanically and the cassette needs to be placed with the side to be played facing forward in the cassette well. Dolby C-type used in the TC-K501R provides 20 dB of noise reduction above about 1,000 Hz, fully doubling the amount given by B-type.

SONY TC-K501R Stereo Cassette TAPECORDER MUST READ - AS-IS/Parts Repair - NO RETURNS - During the testing process this unit powered on without issue, and all of the illumination came on. The unit ejected without issue with and without a cassette. When testing the Play and Reverse Play functions we found that the unit plays at a extremely high speed, and when reverse play is engaged the unit makes a clicking noise. Both the Fast Forward and Rewind functions work as they are supposed to. However, due to the cassette decks play speed and Reverse Play not working properly, we were unable to fully test. For this reason we are selling this unit in the AS-IS/Parts Repair condition. Since this item is being sold AS-IS, this item should be considered to have defects, and we have done our best to disclose them. In the case of an item that doesnt function as intended, there is a chance that other flaws, that we are not aware of, may be present. Please take that into consideration when purchasing. Used, but still in good condition with only minor cosmetic wear and tear. TESTED, and some working order, with several repairs needed. Does not include manual, or original packaging. NO CABLES, OR OTHER ACCESSORIES ARE INCLUDED. Unit shows some wear and scratches, but overall is in good cosmetic condition. (SEE PICTURES). The knobs are all present, with all of the illumination working, and the knobs, switches, and buttons all seem to function as theyre supposed to. However, due to the cassette decks play speed and Reverse Play not working properly, we were unable to fully test. As we do not repair electronics, nor have we attempted any repairs. We list items in the AS-IS/Parts Repair condition in the hopes that someone that can repair these items, or salvage parts from them that they might find useful. In either case, units sold in the AS-IS/Parts Repair condition, are not returnable.
