Could not get it to rewind or fast forward unsure if designed to only be used with recording tapes. Sold as seen/described. Headphone output is mono Takes 4 AA batteries not included

The good bits - Its in very good cosmetic health - a few scratches but no dints or scrapes.The speaker works Bad bitsIt does play with 4 AA batteries (not included) but seems a bit slow.Cant get FF or RW buttons to work on cassette. Its a rare old Sony Walkman - if you have the no how you can make some money from it. OR - I used it for Cosplay as Starlord from Guardians of the Galaxy.

Great condition considering the age excellent come with box . The box are not in good condition some tears and box only with kind of manual see pics. Note : is working with the speaker or with the headphones fine . The issue is the back and forward button doesnt work, you her the song of spinning but they dont spin I dont know why. and I believe you need the forward button works to record thats mean a right now is not recording I think i didnt try i dont have any plain type, need to be fixed or can be used as Walkman or stereo, maybe Im wrong I dont know honestly. Only had some minor corrosion on the battery terminals which was taken care of with CLR - After 40+ years belt needed to be changed. Also cleaned volume potentiometer, rubber rollers and tape heads - Tape and record head as well as capstan are demagnetized - No adjustments were made to tape speed and azimuth as its already sounding great - See demonstration video of it functioning Thanks for stopping by!

A few times in the past, after unplugging the headphone plug the speaker would not immediately re-connect. A gentle wiggle of the plug before pulling it out would resolve the issue. Because this type of problem is unpredictable, its being sold for spares and repair.
