Desirable vintage Sony STR-V4L receiver in good condition Very substantial, high quality build from Sonys golden era. Ive used this for many years as a second Hi-Fi but am now downsizing. Powerful output, I measured 50+ watts into 8 ohm and about 90 into 4 ohms so should be very tolerant of speakers Have tried Tuner and tape inputs though not MM pickup (though have no reason to expect that not to work).Its over 40 yrs old but is in good working order and sounds great. There are three issues to note.- The FM tuning tends to drift a bit as it warms up over the first 10-15 mins - just have to re-tune- The hinge on the flip down cover over the station preset dials has broken (currently held in place by blu-tack)- The case has slight spotting e.g. see photos of top and side.
