The unit does power up fine. I wasnt able to connect it to my phone Bluetooth. I only tested the SA-CD/CD input, which worked fine. The speakers output was tested as well, and there was no further testing. Sold as is for parts or repair only, NO RETURN NO REMOTE INCLUDED
