This home cinema receiver was given to me by a friend who upgraded to a Dolby Atmos system. I am only selling due to the amplifier not having HDMI inputs - otherwise I would be more than happy to continue using it. The sound that comes out of the speakers when using this receiver is nothing short of breath taking! Initially I had only hooked up 2 average quality stereo speakers to see if the unit was fully working and popped Blade Runner 2049 into my blu-ray player. I was blown away by what the amp could pump out through just 2 speakers - I am not exaggerating when I say it sounded like I had a full 5.1 speaker system hooked up! The sound filled the room with a very cinematic feel and I remembered how good Sony home cinema receivers really are! The receiver appears to be in full working order with just one knob on the actual unit not responding (the menu knob) - this can be accessed via the remote.The remote control itself was not functioning when I first got hold of the receiver but I popped off the front cover and carefully cleaned inside and this was enough to get the remote fully working again. Unfortunately, I did accidentally snap the front cover when removing it but this does not hinder the operation / also the jog wheel has the top piece missing but this was done sometime before my ownership! One more problem I have noticed, the display seems to get dimmer and dimmer the longer the unit is powered on but it does not affect the performance! Potential buyers please not that this amplifier is quite heavy - it is over 12kg. Apologies for the lack of photos but the receiver is currently in use, but I can assure you it is in very good cosmetic condition (apart from the remote of course!)
