The unit is in excellent condition. I don’t have a tape to test the DAT. However, the player in in great condition. The eject springs open like new and it’s very clean. I bought this from a songwriter with a bunch of audio equipment. I picked up this unit and others at an estate sale. Everything was well taken care of.

Uo for sale a vintage Sony DAT tape deck. This unit is very clean, it came crom the original owner, who took very good care of his stereo equipment. I dont have a DAT tape to test it out to see if it works, therefore, it is being sold for parts/repair. It does power on and does not make any strange sounds.
