Cases have scuffs and scrapes especially at the corners Main speaker cones have shed their foam surround so will need replacement foams Tweeters look ok. Tested and appears to function ok with signals to all speaker connections, but obviously with the cones the way they are the sound is a bit rubbish at present. Vintage Pair Of Sony Speakers System SS-X160 Loudspeaker 40W Needs Refoaming. The speakers play fine but the sound could be better with a re foam. I am unable to remove the fronts but can see that the foam has deteriorated. There are some marks and scratches to the speakers as well as some rips on the speaker fronts so please see all images. If the item is used you should expect signs of use and age throughout such as scratches, marks, dust and fading. Anything major or noticeable will be stated here in the description and shown in the photos. Please study all photos well. Each item is inspected and tested before listing and before posting out.
