I would keep it but I am currently using a customized Sansui QRX 6001 as a preamp, and a Dynaco QSR 300 4 channel amp. The Sony FM tuner IMHO is the clearest and cleanest I have ever listened to among analog receivers. Very nice Phono section. It was tested by my tech @ 82 WPC X 2 and 41 WPC X 4 before clipping. I fully tested each phone, tape and aux input and all are working accordingly. This is a beautiful receiver that came to me in the original box. It has one small mark on the top at the back edge. (I took a close up of it in one of the pictures)Compared to a smaller Technics from back in the day, this SONY sounds amazing. No comparison. I like that theres separate Bass and Treble for the front and rear speakers. As far as I can tell, this is almost in Mint Condition, other than the one mark on the top I mentioned earlier. It All knobs and buttons work accordingly. I didnt hear any crackling from the individual or master volume controls, and very very minimal only the first time I used the Bass and Treble knobs. After that, no crackling what so ever.All lights and meters worked accordingly as well. The FM tuner IMHO is the clearest and cleanest I have ever listened to among analog receivers. Was pulling in stations without any wire installed into the antenna. Very nice Phono section. It gives 80 watts RMS X 2 and 30 watts RMS X4.
