Projector Image Quality, Image Brightness, Thoroughness of Inspections, Proper Product Representation There are many factors that may affect image quality, brightness and overall value of a projector, most of which goes unnoticed by the untrained eye Dust Optic Burns – Image Quality Optic burns may discolor the image or create discolored spots. These spots can be caused by the long hours of use, inappropriate temperature or dust. Dust accumulation is present in most used projectors. It tends to create darker projection image and can leave spots on the projection by getting attached to the optic inside. It may be nearly impossible to remove the dust from the optic without completely disassembling the projector first. Dust may also come loose during the shipping process and later burn into hot optic surfaces of the projector creating spots on the image. It can also attach itself to heat sensitive areas of the projector, causing it to overheat or malfunction. TeKswamp technicians check the quality of the projection image and thoroughly clean the inside and outside of the projectors to eliminate as much dust as possible. Lamps – Image Brightness Important Information about Projector Lamps: Many non-authentic, non-OEM lamps can stop functioning within 6 to 12 months whether the projector has been used or not. Generic lamps may produce a darker or brighter image than an OEM lamp. Non-authentic lamps die more quickly because of inferior build quality, when the gas sealed within the lamp begins to leak. Also, the lamp can be brighter than specified and may burn the projector’s optic by running on a higher temperature than the projector is designed for. TeKswamp ensures that you receive a lamp with low hours. In addition, we inspect every lamp to check for burns, dust and clarity of the lamp reflector. Inspections and Testing Used projectors MUST be thoroughly inspected and tested for optimal functionality and endurance. PANASONIC RAE-0113Z Traverse Deck Module, REFURBISHED. On Sale. New Low Price This is a professionally cleaned and rebuilt Panasonic / Technics CD player Traverse deck module. It does not include the drawer mechanism (as these are not part of the traverse assembly). New versions of these modules were discontinued back around 2008 and have not been available anywhere for more than a decade (if you have a CD player that uses this rare model, then you know this). Only worn, used and broken modules which skip can be found for sale. New parts are needed to fix them, otherwise you end up with the same problems as before. Some of these were used on players sold by California Audio Labs, Adcom (e.g. Adcom GCD-750), ACURUS, Technics and Panasonic. An increase in skipping, vibration sensitivity, tracking errors and long read times of the TOC (and/or tracks) are typically observed when, due to age, these start to fail. They become very sensitive to vibrations and skip often. Replacement of the LASER module almost never fixes the problems as the LASER modules power output often tests OK, and may not be to blame (LASER modules usually last a very long time in these modules, but the motors and e-caps have much shorter lifetimes). The most common problems are caused by wear from worn electro-mechanical parts that drive the unit, not the LASER (e.g. Spindle and tracking motors) and out-of-tolerance driver board capacitors which cause tracking errors. It is best to replace all of the common wear parts to restore normal function. This module was professionally re-built using an original, fully cleaned 113Z traverse platform as the base. A new spindle motor was installed, the spindle disc height adjusted and checked for clearance and speed. A slightly used, but excellent condition traverse motor was installed, the gears and rails were cleaned, greased and re-installed. A brand new LASER module was installed (for peace of mind). The decks PCB control board (soldered to the back) was fully cleaned and all original electrolytic capacitors were replaced with high quality Japanese components (i.e. Nichi and Rubycon). The module for sale is the one shown in the photos (I only have 1 for sale, as it took several years to collect all of the needed parts to assemble it). NOTES: As these are very delicate, static sensitive parts requiring skilled and careful installation, no warranty is offered, no returns accepted. PANASONIC RAE-0113Z Traverse Deck Module, REFURBISHED. This is a professionally cleaned and rebuilt Panasonic / Technics CD player Traverse deck module. It does not include the drawer mechanism (as these are not part of the traverse assembly). New versions of these modules were discontinued back around 2008 and have not been available anywhere for more than a decade (if you have a CD player that uses this rare model, then you know this). Only worn, used and broken modules which skip can be found for sale. New parts are needed to fix them, otherwise you end up with the same problems as before. Some of these were used on players sold by California Audio Labs, Adcom (e.g. Adcom GCD-750), ACURUS, Technics and Panasonic. An increase in skipping, vibration sensitivity, tracking errors and long read times of the TOC (and/or tracks) are typically observed when, due to age, these start to fail. They become very sensitive to vibrations and skip often. Replacement of the LASER module may not fix the problems as the LASER modules power output often tests OK, and may not be to blame (LASER modules usually last a very long time, but the motors and e-caps have shorter lifetimes). The most common problems are caused by wear from worn electro-mechanical parts that drive the unit (e.g. Spindle and tracking motors) and out-of-tolerance driver board capacitors which cause tracking errors. It is best to replace all of the common wear parts to restore normal function. This module was professionally re-built using a used, fully cleaned 113Z traverse platform as the base. A new spindle motor was installed, the spindle disc height adjusted and checked for clearance and speed. A slightly used, but excellent condition traverse motor was installed, the gears and rails were cleaned, greased and re-installed. A brand new LASER module was installed (for peace of mind). The decks PCB control board (soldered to the back) was fully cleaned and all original electrolytic capacitors were replaced with high quality Japanese components (i.e. Nichi and Rubycon). The module for sale is the one shown in the photos (I only have 1 for sale, as it took several years to collect all of the needed parts to assemble it). NOTES: As these are very delicate, static sensitive parts requiring skilled and careful installation, no warranty is offered, no returns accepted. PANASONIC RAE-0113Z Traverse Deck Module, REFURBISHED. This is a professionally cleaned and rebuilt Panasonic / Technics CD player Traverse deck module. It does not include the drawer mechanism (as these are not part of the traverse assembly). New versions of these modules were discontinued back around 2008 and have not been available anywhere for more than a decade (if you have a CD player that uses this rare model, then you know this). Only worn, used and broken modules which skip can be found for sale. New parts are needed to fix them, otherwise you end up with the same problems as before. Some of these were used on players sold by California Audio Labs, Adcom, ACURUS, Technics and Panasonic. An increase in skipping, vibration sensitivity, tracking errors and long read times of the TOC (and/or tracks) are typically observed when these start to fail due to age. They become very sensitive to vibrations. Replacement of the LASER module may not fix the problems as the LASER modules power output is often OK, and not to blame (they usually last a very long time). The most common problems are caused by wear from worn electro-mechanical parts that drive the unit and out-of-tolerance driver board capacitors which cause tracking errors. It is best to replace all of the common wear parts to restore function. This module was professionally re-built using a used, fully cleaned 113Z traverse platform as the base. A new spindle motor was installed, the spindle disc height adjusted and checked for clearance and speed. A slightly used, but excellent condition traverse motor was installed, the gears and rails cleaned and greased. A brand new LASER module was installed. The decks PCB control board (soldered to the back) was fully cleaned and all original electrolytic capacitors were replaced with high quality Japanese parts (Nichi and Ruby). The module for sale is the one shown in the photos (I only have only 1 for sale, as it took years to collect all of the needed parts). NOTES: As these are very delicate, static sensitive parts requiring skilled and careful installation, no warranty is offered, no returns accepted. If you have any questions or concerns, please let me know and I will always do my best to assist you, but this is the only one I have available for sale (as many of the parts are difficult to obtain). If your CD player has damage to the ribbon cables, connectors, circuits, driver controls, drawer module and/or audio circuits, then this part alone will not fix the CD player.This is a RAE0113Z traverse deck. Bought this from a Sony dealer as a slightly used demo. Comes with brand new, standard lens. Shippers damaged (and discarded) the original box and slightly damaged the chassis. Sony consumer division would not work on this as it is professional and dealer couldnt help, so I ran out of patience and had it independently repaired and thoroughly looked over and got a full, clean bill of health. Calibrated accurately. They opened it up, realigned dislodged board and straightened out dented chassis. Cover has mild indentation. Some blemishes remain on corners as seen in pics and the back cover strip is slightly loose if you wiggle it, but doesnt rattle or cause any issues. Unit works perfectly and was thoroughly tested.
