Sony DVP-CX777ES 400 CD/DVD Changer auction includes the disc player and NON-ORIGINAL REMOTEthe remote is not original but it is a Sony, the remote will control most features: play, stop, power on off, fast forward and search etc, but it will not change the disc...it was probably made for a single disc player the unit works very well, plays all discs perfectly, the changer moves quickly through the discs, door works quickly, display works well. I think there is supposed to be a light inside the changer, but this light does not work. Excellent picture and sound ! The unit looks good , but has some small marks on the front near some controls, a small nick on the face, and some marks on the top cover from another unit being on top....please view all photos. Im the original owner. I believe the original price was $3,500. A few years ago, I gave away all my SACDs and CDs and promised myself I would list this player for sale. Then I brought it to the garage and promptly forgot about it. I took it out of the garage this week to list it for sale. To test the unit for sale, I purchased and popped in a dual-layer SACD. Unfortunately, the player would only recognize the CD layer. (CD layer sounded great, for what it is worth). After searching the internet for a couple minutes, it looks like this is a common issue, which can potentially be resolved by some combination of cleaning, realigning, or replacing the SACD laser. No idea, and dont quote me on that. If I was handy, I would try to fix it myself, but Im not. It played single layer SACDs just fine last time I tried one, several years ago, but I dont have one on hand to test, because (as I mentioned) I gave away my SACDs and CDs years ago. I forgot to test the remote before I taped up the box, but I have the original remote, and it worked just fine last time I used it. Also, there is a film or deterioration or corrosion or something on the outside of the player. I have no idea what this is or how easy it would be to clean. Putting this out there so someone who wants a project or some extra parts can make some use out of it. Thanks.

Wir bieten hier den legendren SCD-XA777ES von Sony aus den Jahren 2001-2003 an. Player hat einige wenige Gebrauchspuren (immerhin ist der Player ber 20 Jahre alt), befindet sich sonst in einem tadellosen Zustand. Technisch einwandfrei, bei einigen Hybrid-Discs las er jedoch erst nach mehreren Versuchen die SACD-Spur. Technische Daten sollten bekannt sein fr diejenigen, welche dieses Gert suchen. Der SCD-XA777ES befindet sich seit 2019 in unserem Besitz und wurde vorher vollstndig gewartet. Er war sehr wenige Betriebsstunden bei uns im Einsatz. Versand ist mglich und wird per DHL Paket und mit besonderer Transportversicherung versendet. Hier liegen die Kosten insgesamt bei EUR 26,00.
