I was in the habit of leaving it powered on 24/7 so this is never an issue.2) the spring in the right front knob is broken. It was like this when I got it and it is not an issue with function. I have used it in my audio system for several years and it has performed well and sounds great.. There is some rack rash, but it looks good cosmetically.
