Sony STR-D665 Receiver HiFi Stereo Vintage Home Audio 5.1 Channel - Tested READ The receiver is in working condition. There are scuffs, scratches, and a small area of what looks like epoxy drips on the housing. The unit functions normally and includes the remote which is also tested and working. There is one defect that is more annoying than catastrophic. One of the spring loaded output speaker connections is missing. It can still be utilized as normal, you just have to be a little creative to get the speaker wire to remain in place, plus have some pressure on it to make contact with the connection plate that is still rigidly in place. I used a couple small pieces of toothpick to wedge the wire in and keep the connection adequate. It worked completely normal with this method, but a proper fix or a more elegant solution is always an option. If you dont mind a little bit of cosmetic issues and either fixing or jury-rigging the one speaker connection, you will still get the functionality of a prettier looking one.
