Description
Another item from Ricky Young, Quality Artifacts, Springfield, Vermont. This item is Vintage with signs of age and previous use that are shown in the pictures. Please review the pictures carefully for more details.Additional Notes: I have not been able to find any details about the MDR-70 II, a successor to the famous MDR-70 headphones popularly used with the Sony Walkman. I found specs for the MDR-70 T second generation headphones on a German wiki site, and am including the specs found for it below. I am thinking the II would be similar to the T in specs, but you can decide that for yourself. These are fantastic headphones, with great sound (remarkable bass), in good working condition. This pair clearly has replaced cable and plug parts as shown. Aside from the above, there is some discoloration to the ear pads, and other normal signs of age and previous use.Specs from hifi-wiki.de:Manufacturer: Sony, Model: MDR-70T, Type: Headphones, Years of construction: 1982 - 1987, Manufactured in: Japan, New price approx.: 65 USD, 160 DM (1983).Open air stereo headphones.
