Das Gerät funktioniert soweit gut, Empfang auf allen Bändern, SONY-typisch sehr empfindlich auf UKW.Laute, unverzerrte Wiedergabe.Auch der TIMER funktioniert, habe es mal nach 5 Min. automatisch abschalten lassen. Einziges, technisches Problem: er hält die eingestellte Frequenz nicht und springt immer wieder ein Stück weg.Könnte mit lockerem Zahnantrieb der Filmskala zusammenhängen, habs aber nicht weiter untersucht. Vintage Sony ICF-5450L FM/AM 3 Band Portable Radio Receiver This item was donated used and thus will show signs of age and use related wear. We have given the radio a good clean, but there is still some grime leftover in the crevices. Does not come with a power cable. Can be used with batteries (requires 3x C, not included) We have tested the radio with batteries and can confirm the following: -The FM radio works -The bass and treble dials work -The volume and frequency dials work. -The timer works (even without batteries), though it may be slow. The following things do not seem to work: -We were unable to find any signals with the MW and LW bands -The light button doesnt seem to do anything. Please see photos for best idea on condition. Sony ICF-5450L Vintage 1980 Portable Radio FM/MW/LW Made In Japan. Beautiful condition, all knobs and buttons working perfectly and without any crackle. Even the ‘light’ button puts on the original 1980s bulb on the wavelength tuner! Original strap with the Sony branding printed on it, original earpiece tucked in the side pocket, original arial. There are a few marks due to age - the silver plate is notoriously easy to scratch - but it’s in solid condition and heading towards a half century old. Will be well packaged in multiple layers of bubble wrap and cardboard for safe dispatch.
