Up for auction is this very nice, lightly used and refreshed Sony DVP-CX995V 400 disc cd changer set. The unit is in very nice, lightly used condition and comes complete with the remote, manual, and HDMI cable for hookup. All functions work perfectly as they should and it plays DVDs/CDs with ABSOLUTELY ZERO skipping (obviously unless if your disc is scratched up or dirty...) Please view all pictures for closeups! ALL my DVP-CX995V Sony changers (including this one) have my typical refurbish service which consists of addressing all the key points these need to keep running smoothly. FIRSTLY, it has the latest firmware update Sony released for these insuring that it will be HDMI compatible with all older and newer TVs. Without this update I have witnessed that some newer TVs after 2013 or so will not show any picture and the changer wont recognize the connected TV. My units will not have this issue. Also, It has a fresh belt set, cleaned laser lens, and a totally disassembled and re-lubricated laser transport tracking assembly. This consists of the gear drive and metal guide rail the laser head rides on. When this is not addressed, it can lead to skipping during playback. Many a time I find that all the original grease in all these units begins to harden and become more like a tacky, wet glue rather than a slick lubricant. This leads to skipping during playback when not addressed. Also, each unit is disinfected, dusted inside and out, and cleaned ready for installation into your system. Each unit ships with the disc loading door in the open position so no pressure can be applied to the clear door window causing it to possibly crack during shipping pressure. It is bubble wrapped and surrounded by packing peanuts for cushioning. I have been working on these Sony changers for many years and am confident in each one I offer for sale. I GUARANTEE them to work properly for 60 DAYS from the delivery date and back that up with eBays extended 60 day return policy. I also offer to BUY BACK YOUR OLD COMPARABLE Sony UNIT (partially or non working) as a core! I supply a pre-paid (free to you) USPS return label and normally offer back $80 for it in the form of a partial refund from the original purchase. Sony DVP-CX995V CD/DVD Player Note - plays US - NTSC DVDs only (US bought) Official description below - after my brief description No remote - or at least havent found it yet. Not tested (as in sound) but did turn on and seem fully functional. Did work as part of audiovisual set-up before being shipped to Switzerland (from USA). Was my uncles but passed away before all shipped belongings were opened and set up. Some of the other hi-fi equipment has come back to the UK with me, though not this as didnt have a need for it. No speakers to test it, though it does turn on using a step down/ up voltage convertor. It has a USA plug and no voltage switch (so is 120v). Would have to be used in Europe using a voltage convertor unless it was altered. He was the sole owner of this and was very good and passionate about his electronic, mechanical and photographic items - maintaining them and keeping them in good condition. Overall very good condition, I think. Some light scuffs and scratches on the outside - minor/ surface only. Thank you for looking.
