Used and works great. No remote included. The unit is missing its feet. I believe it was rack mounted. There is a dent in the top, doesnt affect function though.

Up for your consideratrion is a SONY DTC-A7 digital tape (DAT) player/ recorder. I bought this a few years ago, when I wanted to create the ultimate home stereo setup. However, I only ended up getting a very few select componments before giving up on it. This is the last piece I have, and I would like to find it a new home. I do not know enough about it, or have the means to connect it up, so it is being sold for parts/ repair/ as-is and no returns. I was able to power it on and even found a DAT tape left by the previous owner. From what I can tell, it seems to play and does all of the normal functions (FF, RW, Play, Etc...), but this was all done without any amplification, so I cant vouch for the sound output/ quality. I have attached a video to the listing, but if eBay does not add it, Id be happy to email you a copy so you can see how it acts. This will be well packaged and insured, to protect against loss or damage while in transit.
