Here is a nice little Sony stereo system. Please note ***when I first put a cd (Duran Duran haha) in it functioned perfectly. CD sounded great and radio worked with no problems. It ejected the cd then went back down. When I tried to re-insert the cd it would not come up. Don’t know if it’s a simple fix or a little more involved but please take note that the cd dock will not rise to insert the cd. No clue how to fix so not even gonna try. Radio still functioned fine. Comes with wires for each speaker and an FM antenna that plugs into the back. There is a mark by where you touch the open/close (last pic). Besides that everything looks really nice and clean. Make sure you place the player on a flat surface or the cd will have trouble ejecting. This is a common issue with these players.

This unit sounds great! It has minimal signs of wear as it is a used system (Please see all of the pictures for details). As with this particular player the cd lifter sticks at times but reads and plays a cd wonderfully. It also comes with the remote!

This desktop micro hi-fi system has a vertical-loading CD slot, and everything is tested and works great - including all functions, the remote, and the speakers. The system sounds fantastic! Im such a huge fan of this system that I actually owned two of them. The sound is phenomenal as is the style. This one includes the remote, both antennas, and even the back cover plate. The only issue whatsoever is a slightly delaminated spot of finish on top of the one speaker, and thats pretty hard to notice (see up-close photo). Overall this is one of the cleanest and most complete one of these systems youd be lucky enough to find - please see photos! Sony CMT-EX100 Micro Hi-Fi Component System CD player ***Please read carefully*** The unit powers on and so do the speakers. Button cycles properly between radio, tape, and CD. Audio level raises and lowers. The CD player does NOT work. The part that the CD sits does not raise all the way, so CD cannot be inserted. Watch the video to see it. I’ve seen YouTube videos saying that the band needs to be replaced and it should work. Radio crackles when turns to that setting. I live in a rural area so a channel did not come through for me. -No remote included -One speaker is missing two pegs on the bottom. See the pictures for details. Mild scuffing and scratching. Sony micro hi-fi sold with speakers & removeable grilles, remote control and original FM/AM antennae. All the electronics work fine, and I have been using this as a working radio and PC speakers. This is an awesome little machine with proper bass reflex speakers and it sounds luscious. Important: the CD mechanism wont load a disc and needs repair. There is nothing mechanical or irreplaceable broken. Ive done some research and believe that the rubber drive belt has aged to the point where there isnt quite enough strength to pull the magnetic hub apart which opens to allow the CD load mechanism to operate. Im moving onto a boat and dont have time to order and replace this belt. If you know what this is, then its a relatively simple fix. Given this condition, Im selling as-is in auction with no reserve - good luck!

Everything works as it should! New drive belt installed! The unit is in good condition - any visible scratches are only minor/light. This unit does not have the original speakers or remote. This unit will come with 2 black wood Sony speakers pictured. THE drive BELT HAS BEEN REPLACED on this unit just recently and the carriage that goes up and down to load the CD now works perfectly every time. It’s not the easiest to repair so it’s nice to have that already done for you! Comes as shown with 2 speakers and connections. No remote or additional antennae. It gets stuck randomly when trying to eject, but when it fully ejects, it plays CDs normally. It does have cosmetic issues on the left side, where it looks like it was lifted out of alignment (see pictures) and the glass/plastic piece where the Sony logo is on the front is unseated on the left side (see pictures). The aesthetic issues does NOT affect functionality, but for someone who wants it to look perfect, you will want to look elsewhere. Therefore, I am selling it AS IS. Unit ONLY.
