THE CASSETTE PLAYBACK IS AT THE CORRECT SPEED. IT DOES NEED A BIT OF A CLEAN ON THE BACK OF THE UNIT.IT COMES WITH A MAINS POWER CABLE. SERIAL NUMBER - 134293. Sony CFS-2000L STEREO CASSETTE RECORDER WORKING GHETTO BLASTER VINTAGE RETRO. This Sony stereo is a really great item for any fan of retro music systems. The Sony name speaks for itself. The stereo itself is in good condition for its age from the 1980s (the odd expected sratches/discolouration here and there as seen in pictures.) The radio is fully working and the antenna is fully in tact (as seen in pictures). The tape deck is also fully working. It runs off a figure 8 plug which is included. It also can be run off batteries, sadly I dont have any of this type to try that so cannot guarantee it works off batteries. but as you can see from the pictures the battery compartment looks in very good condition and all terminals in tact no corrosion so I’d hazard a guess it’s working.
