This turns on, and plays the radio, but the cassette will need the rubber bands replaced. It can play, but the roller responsible for twisting the right side of the tape is not working. So you will get 5-10 seconds of play then the tape will get unwinded, and stuck around the pitch roller. The attenta cant close all the way. There is battery corrosion on the spring side, but was tested, and still works. I have not tested the ac adapter. This unit was picked up in an estate sale in the garage where there was no climate control. There is some light corrosion on the stainless steel parts. There is also some orange paint on certain parts which seem to be something the owner did with a lot of his possessions. Not sure why.
