Vintage High-End Audiophile Reference Flagship model in the premium ES series, a Sony CDP-XA7ES CD Player with the correct original Remote, weighted stabilizer “puck” and copy of manual in excellent overall working and looking condition. Sounds great. Lightly used. Reviewed by Stereophile and others to be superb quality, best in class and compares to others costing 3 times as much. $3000 retail when new. There are three sets of analog outputs (balanced, unbalanced fixed output, unbalanced variable output) and two digital outputs. Remote also controls Motorized Level for volume up & down. Features Fading In or Out and Custom Files so you can delete unwanted tracks for up to 224 discs. Cosmetically in excellent cosmetic condition with some expected scuffs and scratches from normal use. Very heavy for its size with a copper shielded chassis. There is a quirk in my testing to note; if there is a disc already inserted, it will start playing it when powered up. It played several computer burned CDR’s fine. At 25+ years old, vintage electronics are sold As-Is but guaranteed not to be DOA. Made for US market: 120vAC-60Hz. SONY CDP-XA7ES RARE Audiophile CD Player w/ Puck. Ive had this unit for many years and it always worked perfectly. Although I really havent used it all that much. The unit is in beautiful condition a solid 9 out of 10. Virtually no dents, scratches or marks at all. Super high-end unit thats very well made. These are rare and do not show up for sale very often. The original remote is included, although I forgot to take a picture of it. Its in good shape. Will be packed very well with special foam packaging in a large sturdy box. International buyers please email first, as this unit will probably exceed the weight limit for most countries for the Post office. Ive seen these units priced typically from $1,500 to $2,000 when they do show up for sale. Im asking a more reasonable price here.
