The CDP-502ES was one of Sonys finest CD players, released in 1984 and bested only by the 552esd which had the same DAC and transport but also came with a coaxial digital output. This generation is widely considered one of the best sounding players that Sony ever made, and I can attest to this. This example is in great condition and everything works! It has been my daily driver for the last 3 years, prior to which it was serviced in Germany, from where I imported it. It has a few slight comsetic imperfections, such as a small chip on the left side, and the Line Out lettering coming off. Collection in person from NW London preferred due to weight (almost 9kg).
