Vintage Sony CDP-307esD Single Disc Digital Output Stereo CD Player TESTED READ Unit is being sold as is for parts or repair only Disc tray does not eject. Being sold as is because of this issue. I removed the cover from the disc tray and put a disc in. Unit played perfectly. All functions/buttons were tested while disc was in and everything worked great Im not sure if the disc tray is ran by a belt or not. Im assuming it is and if it does it probably just needs a new belt. If not then im not sure what would be causing the issue Cosmetically the cd player is great shape. Has a few scuffs and scratches here and there. Also the open and close button have some wear. Pretty clean overall. Vintage Sony CDP-307esD Single Disc Digital Output Stereo CD Player TESTED READ Unit plays CD’s no problem, but there have been a few times where I have encountered the disc tray sticking when the eject button is hit. When this happens, I have had to remove the metal bonnet and tap the back side of the tray while the player is trying to eject. The tray does not seem to stick if the player is left sedentary, and will only begin to stick again if some sort of pressure is applied to the front face of the tray. Unit most likely needs some sort of lubricant in the disc trays track, but will be sold AS-IS, no returns. Exterior of the unit shows minimal signs of age-related wear, and is overall in great shape considering the year it was produced. Does not come with any remote control, or original packaging material from the manufacturer. See all pictures closely for details of condition, and specifications of the player.
