Vintage Sony CDP-302 CD Player Unilinear Converter System w/ Remote & Manual The CD player is in very good and working condition. The only issue I have found is that the CD drawer is a bit weak. I opened the unit and found that it is a belt drive. I do not have the proper size belt to replace. I also placed some electronic grease on the tray rails which greatly improved performance. It still hesitates and is a bit weak, however. Please check the video on the listing to see how it is functioning at the time of the listing. It may be a bit sticky and need assistance to open and close the first few times. There are some marks and light scratches on the housing. The worst spots are pictured. On the back left there looks to have been a sticker on at some point and may have damaged the paint in that area. All other functionality is tested and found to be working including the remote control which is excellent condition with no corrosion in the battery compartment. Vintage Sony CDP-307esD Single Disc Digital Output Stereo CD Player TESTED READ Unit is being sold as is for parts or repair only Disc tray does not eject. Being sold as is because of this issue. I removed the cover from the disc tray and put a disc in. Unit played perfectly. All functions/buttons were tested while disc was in and everything worked great Im not sure if the disc tray is ran by a belt or not. Im assuming it is and if it does it probably just needs a new belt. If not then im not sure what would be causing the issue Cosmetically the cd player is great shape. Has a few scuffs and scratches here and there. Also the open and close button have some wear. Pretty clean overall. Classic Sony CD player in like new condition in origianl box. Rubber belts have been replaced and its fully functional.

Vintage Sony CDP-307esD Single Disc Digital Output Stereo CD Player TESTED READ Unit plays CD’s no problem, but there have been a few times where I have encountered the disc tray sticking when the eject button is hit. When this happens, I have had to remove the metal bonnet and tap the back side of the tray while the player is trying to eject. The tray does not seem to stick if the player is left sedentary, and will only begin to stick again if some sort of pressure is applied to the front face of the tray. Unit most likely needs some sort of lubricant in the disc trays track, but will be sold AS-IS, no returns. Exterior of the unit shows minimal signs of age-related wear, and is overall in great shape considering the year it was produced. Does not come with any remote control, or original packaging material from the manufacturer. See all pictures closely for details of condition, and specifications of the player. Works GREAT. This was my personal player but i found something that better fits the space i have it in. Decal on open/close button is worn off and there are scratches on top of the unit. Will pack in a box with care!

The disc tray needs help when it ejects. Otherwise it works fine. The disc tray only comes out a little on its own.
