The unit came from a good friend of mine that took great care of all his players and is in great shape . Unfortunately he passed away from covid a few years ago . I’m selling it for the estate. When I picked up the unit it was full of dvds so I’m sure he was using the unit . I hooked the unit up and some disc play and some come up as invalid From what I understand it might be the laser unit needs replaced and they can be found on eBay and other sites I want to to clear that when I tested it some disc would play and others would not . I have no desire to mislead anyone And from what I read it’s a common thing to have to replace this laser unit . I do have the power cord and remote Please see pic of the corrosion in the battery compartment of remote. I have not seen the manual but when I go back to his house I’ll see if I can find it . Even without controller, the built-in UI for selecting discs is perfectly adequate even by todays standards. HDMI A/V output to 1080p/bit-streamed&decoded HD audio. Also has legacy component and composite video outputs. Digital s/pdif and multichannel analog audio outputs on the back panel. There is a slightly dented corner (see the 6th photo) at the rear right top. Other than that, this player almost looks like new, with very minimal signs of use all around and a near-mint front panel.
