CD changer tray and player works flawlessly. Please see video in gallery, connected to own receiver and speakers. Comes with original remote. Made in Japan in 1990. Unit will be packed carefully as Transit Key is missing. That key will be replaced by a bolt to eliminate the risk of any shipping damage. Side note: This unit needs to be connected to a receiver (amplifier) for CD playback.

Vintage Sony CDP-X33ES High Density Linear Converter Digital Sync 1990 READ DESC PSA: If you dont see a video in the listing try loading the listing in an incognito or private window or on your phone, ebay seems to struggle to show videos when logged in and on certain devices. What Works? The unit powers on, the screen lights up and looks beautiful and bright. The unit is able to play CDs without issue and sounds great, and all the buttons and nobs on the unit appear to function as intended. The unit is also in beautiful physical condition with only a few noticeable scratches, all located on the top side of the unit.Whats the Issue? When this unit came into my hands I found the eject button didnt function at all. I figured this was a simple belt issue and purchased a new belt and replaced the old belt in the unit. This got the unit closing without issue when hitting the eject button, but for some reason hitting the eject button wont actually eject the tray. I saw some people online say this can be caused by a lack of lubrication, so I added a small amount of food save grease to the gears and saw no better results. As can be seen in the video I was able to test the functionality by opening up the unit and manually opening the tray, than using the eject button as normal once the unit was on to close it again.
