Aussteuerung / Aufnahme / Wiedergabe mit einem SL-F1 war erfolgreich. Alle Tasten führen die gedachten Funktionen aus. Rest siehe Bilder. Sinn / Technik: Die PCM-Prozessoren oder PCM-Adapter wurden seinerzeit entwickelt, um ein aufnahmefähiges digitales Medium anbieten zu können. Da bei PCM-Audio eine für damaliger Verhältnisse (ca. 1977) hohe Datenmenge von 44.056 x 16 x 2 = 1.409.792 Bit/sek (Samplingrate pro Sekunde x Auflösung (16 Bit) x Kanäle (2 für Stereo)). anfiel, suchte man ein günstiges Aufzeichnungsgerät. So entstanden die PCM-Prozessoren. Diese erzeugten aus dem Audiosignal ein digitales Tonabbild, das sie in ein Videosignal verpackten und so mit relativ günstigen Videorecordern aufgezeichnet werden konnte. Genau dafür ist er da, aber ein paar Infos vorweg. Hinweis: Beim PCM-501 handelt es sich um die abgespeckte Variante des PCM-601 ohne digitale Ein- und Ausgänge. Er stammt aus der Zeit von 1984. Bei eingen Betarecordern und bei fast allen VHS-Recordern geht das nicht, somit ist das Ergebnis, je nach Zustand der Kassette / Videorecorder nicht gut. Der Dropoutcompensator ersetzt das fehlende Signal aus der Zeile davor. Dies bingt die Fehlerkorektur des Prozessors mehr durcheinander als das fehlende Signal. Mit einem DVD-Recorder führt das ganze überbrings zu keinem Funktionierendem Ergebnis. Zwar ist das PCM-Bild auf dem Recorder zu sehen. Aber der Prozessor mutet schon wenn man ihn nur anschliesst. Von einer Aufnahme ganz zu schweigen. Sony CFD-501 Boombox CD Player AM/FM Radio Cassette Player Does Not Work. We fully tested this boombox and here are the results. The AM/FM Radio player received a good signal and produced great sound. The antenna is in good condition but the small pieces of plastic are no longer on the back where the antenna snaps into place. See photos. The CD player read our 5 test CDs with no problem. Products great sound. The cassette player did not pass our tests. The gears did not move any of our test tapes. This boombox would work well on a job site or in a workshop.

Auch hat das Gert Standart keine Error LED, diese Zeigt die Fehler an die gelesen werden. Bestenfalls blinkt sie nur mal ganz schwach, wenn sie richtig hell leuchtet werden viele Fehler verarbeitet. Das Gert ist Wohnzimmer Tauglich, hat nur ganz wenige Kratzer. Das Display ist noch super hell. Das Gert wurde vollstndig neu abgeglichen. Alles an den Gert funktioniert.
