In addition, a genuine and brand-new Linn felt mat is included. The tonearm is a genuine Linn Akito which easily passes the swing and bob tests confirming the horizontal and vertical bearings are in excellent shape while the head-shell presents in fine condition. The tonearm cable is also an original Linn supplied one while the tonearm board is a recent genuine Linn model in excellent condition. As for the mechanics, the springs and grommets are genuine Linn and brand-new while the motor is a genuine Linn model which has been completely cleaned, tested, and lubricated to give years of trouble-free service. The mudguard washers and aerotight lock nuts have been replaced with brand-new and the ground wire (earth cable) is also a brand-new one. I have also supplied a brand-new Linn belt and a vial of spare genuine Linn oil is provided for the main bearing. The power supply is a genuine Linn Valhalla that has been thoroughly tested, completely cleaned and fully serviced with new electrolytic capacitors, a higher-rated Bridge rectifier, and a Surge Guard varistor has been installed in place of R1. A brand-new, fast-blow ceramic fuse has also installed. It supports 110v or 240v operation and will be set to 110v operation to function in North America. Finally, the power switch is a brand-new and uprated Valhalla Electronics one of their latest design. I have included a brand-new superior quality 18-gauge, 5-foot power (mains) cable with a North American 3-prong plug. The lid (dustcover) is genuine as supplied by Linn and, although not new, it is in very good condition and comes complete with brand-new Linn hinges. This is for a Valhalla power supply, the motor, switch and mains cable. The board was totally rebuilt, zener mod done (to preserve the board) about 18 mos ago - should be good for 20 years. This is a solid setup that has served me well. Only reason Im selling is I migrated to the Radical PS. Great kit and a good start to an LP12 build or upgrade from a failed Valhalla. On thing to know is that this motor/PS combo is a 60Hz setup (for US).

Linn Valhalla power supply board for LP12 turntable. This is the original board from my LP12 that I have owned for decades. It has always been 100% reliable. I havent used it much in the last 10 years, but I finally fired up the turntable a few weeks ago while sorting through my vinyl and it is still working perfectly. Note the usual dark areas on the board under the large resistors, see the close-up photo, but they have never given me a problem. Ive just now installed a Minos controller to avoid the need for the 45rpm adaptor when playing singles. So this Valhalla board is used but is still working perfectly. The switch is included. Note that this is not suitable for very old (early 1980s) units with the smaller 17mm motor pulley. The pulley on mine is the current 22-ish mm one. Check the diameter of your motor pulley if yours is a very old model. USA only for the free shipping.

Product Description: The plinth is an original Linn plinth constructed from Afromosia hardwood and has that classic Linn fluted finish. It is perfectly square and level, and presents in very good condition. The top-plate is the original Linn one matched to the plinth which has been carefully cleaned and reinstalled using brand-new washers and nyloc nuts. The sub-chassis is a genuine Linn bonded model which has been thoroughly checked to ensure no warping, carefully cleaned, and re-fit to the plinth also using brand-new hardware. It has an excellent Linn pre-Cirkus bearing (which some say is more musical than later bearings). The bearing has been carefully cleaned and was found to be in superior condition. It comes with the matching Linn inner platter and a beautifully cleaned Linn outer platter. In addition, a genuine and brand-new Linn felt mat is included. The tonearm is a genuine Linn Basik Plus which easily passes the swing and bob tests confirming the horizontal and vertical bearings are in excellent shape while the head-shell presents in fine condition. The tonearm cable is also an original Linn supplied one while the tonearm board is a recent genuine Linn model in excellent condition. As for the mechanics, the springs and grommets are genuine Linn and brand-new while the motor is a genuine Linn model which has been completely cleaned, serviced, and lubricated to give years of trouble-free service. The mudguard washers and aerotight lock nuts have been replaced with brand-new and the ground wire (earth cable) is also a genuine Linn one. I have supplied a brand-new Linn belt and a vial of spare Linn oil is also provided for the bearing. The power supply is an original Linn Valhalla that has been thoroughly tested and has a brand-new, fast-blow ceramic fuse installed. It supports 110v or 240v operation and will be set to 110v operation to function in North America unless 240v is requested. I have included a brand-new superior quality 16-gauge, 5-foot power (mains) cable with a North American 3-prong plug which can be swapped for a UK 3-prong plug if desired. The lid (dustcover) is genuine as supplied by Linn and, although not new, it is in very good condition and comes complete with brand-new Linn hinges. There is one small scratch to the left of the dustcover that is hard to see and harder to photograph (see photo). The base is an original Linn fiber baseboard which allows for unmodified authenticity. It includes a set of brand-new superior vibration isolation feet.
