Refoamed and in good working order! This was just pulled from a Heybrook HB1- it sounds great, and has no issues! It does have a small indented spot on the cone, but there are no holes or tears. Snell Acoustics CV - 1 Audax Titanium Tweeter made by JBL - VERY RARE! NOS DTI-01 4 Ohms VINTAGE These tweeters were made by JBL for a very short period in 1990 in a joint development with Audax in France for Snell Acoustics. They have a very similar characteristic to the JBL standard model with a few tweaks to tame the response to make them a bit more hi-fidelity. Although the developments were successful, after a short run, the companies decided that Audax was known for soft domes and JBL hung their hat on metal dome tweeters, so the effort was halted and the supply ended. These are very rare and bring in an extra sparkle with smoothness to the high frequencies. They can be used as a super-tweeter. The units are brand new and have never been used.
