SNELL TYPE CV 3 WAY, 5 SPEAKER - 8 OHM / 40-250 WATT TOWER SPEAKERS. CONSECUTIVE SERIAL NUMBERS. THERE WAS A SMALL HOLE ON THE WOOFER THAT WAS REPAIRED AS CAN BE SEEN IN THE PICTURES, BUT HAS NO AFFECT ON THE OPERATION OF THE SPEAKERS. I am selling my Snell AMC sub 12s as a pair. These are NEW in box.. These retailed for $1200 each new. I bought them for my theater many years ago from the Snell factory when it was in Peabody MA. I never ended up using them. I never even broke the seal. They have been stored in a temperature controlled room for all these years in the original Snell Boxes.. Super Rare.. . Enclosure: 53” H x 14 1/4” W x 6 7/8” DTrim Ring: 15 1/4” x 15 1/4”Drywall Opening 14 3/8” x 14 3/8” The Snell AMC Sub 12 serves one simple function – it extends the bass response of an audio system down to the limits of audibility. In doing so, it gives the system the sonic foundation needed to deliver the full impact of movie sound tracks and the deepest fundamentals of music. Original woofer from Snell Type K III. Refoamed with Simply Speakers Euro foam (closest to original foam). Tested and working. 4 ohms. Snell used spec-built drivers from both Vifa and Peerless.
