SME 3009 series 2 unimproved tonearm. Other than the MK1 this is undoubtedly the most desirable 3009 tonearm, it both looks nicer than the improved but has more mass so makes it possible to successfully use moving coil cartridges. More and more of these tonearms are going to Japan, China and the States and prices are getting daft. This one doesnt have a fingerlift, theyre 10 on eBay. Also has an SME headshell in unmarked condition. The arm is visually really nice, bearings and internal wiring are fine. The cue mechanism is still functioning correctly and the rubber mounts are intact and correct SME screws supplied too. Zoom in and enjoy the photos. A few marks here and there so not perfect but superb for a 55 plus year old tonearm.
