A year ago, we underwent a complete overhaul, and we found and installed an early to mid-term model of 3009S2, which is said to be SMEs masterpiece of metal knife edge bearings. It is a split weight. Equipped with ESOS (Electro Shut Off) mechanism, auto lift and auto stop also operate. It comes with two sub weights, so it covers everything from the heavy SPU to the light needle force SHURE VIII. The player cabinet was replaced with a new walnut one, so there are no scratches on the wood. In addition, a reinforced power supply, inside force canceller, spare arm board, hexagonal wrench for adjustment, lubricating oil is low, replacement parts for overhaul, acrylic cover, and original S/N seal are included. In addition, the acrylic cover would interfere with the arm if the metal fittings were attached properly, so I just placed it on top to protect it from dust.
