Many thanks :) Description: BEYOND RARE SME 3009 series 1 (mK.1) Vintage tonearm. It looks to have had the screaning can changed at some point, to a later one. The counter weight has been drilled and inserts added, again, i believe, as cartidges and headshells got lighter, that this was a commmon mod. The last one of these that was sold, had the holes drilled on the outside of the weight, at least this one has been drilled so the holes can be hidden from view. The headshell is an early s2 light weight shell, the original is included but it has been been ‘chopped it has a black anti skate weight, may be an addition. Superb condition, with little in the way of imperfections. decoupling grommet still has a little life left in it, but could be worth a change in the near future. Exceptional condition, and to be honest, i have never seen an s1 this clean. PLease check the pictures, and make sure you are 100% happy before purchasing. Only around 500 of these were made and are becoming seriously collectable. A very rare find and one for the serious collector.
