This turntable is fresh from an estate. It has a stain on the top that I have shown in my second photo. The metal platter is missing the rubber top. I do not think it is working properly. When I press start it runs for a few seconds and stops. When I press cueing it runs for a few seconds and stops. The needle is not moving when I press cueing. Not sure I am using it properly but pretty sure it needs some repair.

Angeboten wird der abgebildete Technics SL-QL 5. Es handelt sich um einen vollautomatischen Tangential-Plattenspieler mit Quarz-reguliertem Direktantrieb. Das Gerät kommt mit einer neuen Nadel für das EPC-P30-System und wurde umfassend gewartet. Folgende Arbeiten wurden vorsorglich durchgeführt (ausgebaute Alt-Teile siehe Bild 2): - Sämtliche Elektrolyt-Kondensatoren gegen neue Low-ESR-Elkos getauscht- Neuer und höher belastbarer Brückengleichrichter (jetzt mit 2,5 Ampere Belastbarkeit)- Ersatz des hoch belasteten 12V-Gleichspannungsregler AN7812 gegen ein höher belastbares Neuteil (jetzt mit 2 Ampere Belastbarkeit). Erneuerung der Wärmeleitpaste für dieses wichtige Bauteil.- Erneuerung der defekten Kontaktschalter für Plattengrößenerkennung und Deckelschließung- Erneuerung der altersschwachen LED´s für Repeat- und Cueing-Anzeige- Mikroschalter der Repeat-Taste erneuert. Alt-Teil hatte Kontaktprobleme - Austausch der alten porösen Tellermatte - Neuer 45er-Singlepuk aus 3D-Druck -> Der Kunststoff des Originals ist leider zerbröselt.- Gummiriemen des Tangentialarms erneuert, Mechanik des Arms mit frischem Schmierfett ausgestattet. Sie haben hier die Möglichkeit ein umfassend gewartetes Gerät ohne versteckte Mängel zu erwerben. Einfach anschließen und sich an dem tollem analogen Klang erfreuen. Technics SL-QL5 Turntable. Works great and sounds great. Had a nice audio technics PT600 cartridge. Quartz timing holds a dead accurate speed. Has a few scratches on the lid but nothing too bad. Will need the ground wire which is available aftermarket for $10 or it can be made. I heard no hum while using it so may not even need it but always a good idea to have one.
