I calculate at max 250 hours of use, 90% of all playing was to record vinyl to cassette back in the day. It has always been used by mature adult, a controlled environment, no pets and non-smoker. Meticulously kept and maintained. Original boxes, packings, manuals, new belt, hybrid patter mat, cartridge enabler Per photos all original box, packing, manuals will be included. I wouldve rated this package mint except for two slight abrasions on the metal plate plinth underneath the outer platter which cant be seen. The motor has been cleaned, tested and lubricated. A brand new AR belt, the cartridge (still like new) was professionally mounted and calibrated and cleaned frequently with a sonic styli cleaner. All youll need to do is perhaps adjust the VTA (original tools are included) if using the hybrid platter mat (which does enhance upper bass and reduce room acoustic midrange smear), mount and set the counter weight; the dustcover is like new.The sound quality is truly stellar, full, balanced, dynamic and detailed. By adjusting the VTA one can change the sound characteristics to ones liking with the rest of ones audio equipment and room acoustics.The reason for selling is after traveling and moving extensively for 20 years, Ive settled in my new residence, and decided to set up an audiophile sound room. I stepped up big time into esoteric audio with a new table/arm/cartridge and other audiophile level. Id rate this ensemble truly at near or at audiophile level; an exceptional value for the asking price. AR is legendary and has been mimicked by some of the best names in turntables manufacturing such as Linn, Oracle, Thornes and Dual for its superior isolation dampening system. This is a highly sought after and hard to find Moving Magnet stereo phono cartridge. Great sounding and accurate. This Signet TK10ML Microline MM Cartridge was installed for a short time (maybe 3 months) on a Sony PS-X800 tangential tracking tonearm in the mid 1980s. Upon selling the table the new owner did not want the cartridge. I stored the cartridge and didnt use it as I had purchased a B & O table that cannot use standard cartridges. My two mistakes were selling the Sony table and having to live with B&Os cartridges. It would be hard to find one so slightly used with all the packaging. This one is serial number 331. Signet TK10 phono cartridge in box with paperwork used. I purchased from from audiophile as an opened box tested item, low hours. I have 50 hours approximately, I have a number of vintage moving magnet cartridges that I switch/roll. I had a tk10 in the eighties and needed to put another in my collection. But I am selling a few items so I can purchase additional audio gear. Stylus is good, I noticed body of the cartridge has a few marks imperfections from mounting.
