Shure VN-15E VN7 Super-Track Diamond Stereo Stylus Needle Dad says he has never used this because it wasnt the right model back in the day. I’m helping my Dad adopt out some of the stuff he has collected over the many decades. He was very much into records when he was younger. Here is a very cool SHURE stylus with drop down needle guard in the simulated blackwood display box. I’m not an expert but have taken many clear photos so please review them for condition. I wouldnt have any idea how to even test it so, it is untested. However, it looks to me to have never been used. Everything seems to be there. The original box, the info sheet, the stylus and needle with the moulded plastic form to protect the cartridge. This has been sitting in a drawer for decades. Shure V-15 II Super Track mit originaler VN-15E Nadel - rarer MM-Klassiker der 1960er! Das V-15 Type II ersetzte Ende des Jahres 1966 das originale V-15 als Top-Abtaster in Shures Modell-Hierarchie. Das System zählte damals nicht nur zu den besten sondern mit einem Preis von 70,- $ bzw. 400,- DM auch zu den teuersten MM-Tonabnehmern auf dem Markt. Das System blieb auch noch nach Einführung des Nachfolgers V-15 III für einige Jahre im Lieferprogramm. Die Modelle M-91 und M-75 sind direkte Abkömmlinge des V-15 II. Passt ideal zu leichten und mittelschweren Tonarmen. Technische Daten: Nackter Naturdiamant mit elliptischem Nadelschliff 0.7 x 0.2 mil. Übertragungsbereich: 20 Hz bis 25 kHz, Abschlußimpedanz: 47 kOhm, Abschlußkapazität: 400-500 pF, Übertragungsfaktor: 3,5 mV bei 5cm/s, Übersprechdämpfung: 25 dB. Auflagekraft 7,5 bis 15 mN, vertikaler Spurwinkel: 15°, Gewicht 6,8 Gramm. Das System selbst ist getestet und funktioniert einwandfrei, auch optisch in gutem Zustand. Der Nadelträger ist gerade und unbeschädigt, weist aber deutliche Oxidationsspuren auf. Mit der originalen Nadel spielt das System bei 1,0 p Auflagekraft noch sauber und unverzerrt, die bisherige Laufzeit ist mir allerdings nicht bekannt. Ich würde für den regelmäßigen Einsatz daher zu einer neuen Nadel raten.Originale Shure VN-15E Nadeln sind gelegentlich erhältlich, elliptische Nachbauten sogar sehr preiswert. Als hochwertiger Ersatz eignen sich die SAS-Nadeln des japanischen Herstellers JICO. Kommt ohne Zubehör, auch das Headshell gehört nicht zum Angebot. Passende Montageschrauben und Ausdruck der Anleitung liegen bei. Weitere geprüfte und überholte Geräte in parallelen Angeboten. Nadel und Tonabnehmer können gern vor Ort besichtigt werden. NOS *763-DE Shure VN-15E Supertrack replacement stylus Type: Shure VN-15E .0002 x .0007 diamond, tracking force .75 - 1.5 grams Compatible with: Shure VN-15E Used in: Shure V15 Type II Marked Made in USA and Precision Manufactured by Shure on package. Labeled Shure and Supertrack on stylus body. Package is opened, but stylus appears unused and in good condition. Untested and sold as is -- unfortunately I dont have a V15 type II to test this, but I certainly would if I had the right body. What you see is what you get.

Picked this up in a drawer full of old RCA and stereo wires. Figured it might be well kept as the only other thing left in the large house was/is a JBL Paragon speaker system. No idea about its age or quality.
