Some prefer the original Shure holders and (especially) brush to the aftermarket ones. Nothing wrong with this cartridge, simply surplus to my needs (I already have another). Excellent cartridge- the hype is justified. It also includes the original Shure threaded inserts for mounting which I never see on these when up for sale. For some it is of no importance what condition the stylus is in because they do not care to differentiate the details of “hi-fidelity” and to others it is of great importance. Shure V15-V phono cartridge. Removed from working turntable. It is in good condition and has a replacement stylus and brush.

I have owned this cartridge for years and recently rediscovered it in a drawer! It is a MR cartridge but I got it with a pristine Shure HE stylus. I bought a SAS stylus for it that has less than 10 hours on it. I used to own Cryo-Parts and the cartridge and the Shure HE stylus are both cryo treated... the SAS is new this year and I no longer own the cryo machine. The cartridge body has foQ damping tape on the sides which helps with vibration. The SAS has all of the packing and both boxes. The Type V has the Shure box with the screw driver and the mounting kit (see photos). As you can see from the actual photos this set up is pristine as are the styli. I do not know the actual hours on the HE but as you can see it has very little use. I used it less than an hour myself.I have too many cartridges and that is the only reason for selling.Note: I have the cartridge along with the HE stylus in a different plastic box for shipping as I like this solution for safety better than the Shure box. You will get everything related to the cartridge in the photos.
