This auction is for my Shure V15 Type III L-M (Low Mass) Cartridge and Shure VN35E Super-Track Plus Stylus. Both cartridge and stylus are in excellent condition. The cartridge is mounted in a sled made in Germany—the Dual TK 136 sled. Being Low Mass, the total weight is only 0.3 oz. (8.5 grams). This auction includes the very rare “SHURE Stereo Dynetic” plastic cartridge case. I have conducted a continuity test of the cartridge in accordance with Shure’s testing instructions, as follows: 1. Using an ohmmeter, you can check the continuity of a Shure phono cartridge body. 2. Remove any wires connected to the cartridge. You will test at the pins on the rear of the cartridge. Set the ohmmeter so it can read up to 10,000 ohms. 3. Connect the ohmmeter leads to the white pin (L) and the blue pin (LG). The meter should read above 100 ohms and below 10,000 ohms. 4. Connect the ohmmeter leads to the red pin (R) and the green pin (RG). The meter should read between 100 ohms and below 10,000 ohms. The ohm reading should be about the same as step #3 above. 5. Connect the ohmmeter leads to the white pin and the red pin. The meter should read infinity or open. 6. Connect the ohmmeter leads to the blue pin and the green pin. The meter should read infinity or open. If you get different results, the cartridge might have an internal defect. If you get similar results to the numbers listed above, the cartridge is OK ….” As you can see in the pictures, the ohmmeter readings for the first two tests are both about 1300 ohms. The last two tests show a zero (infinity) reading, as expected. So, these tests confirm that the cartridge is in excellent working condition. The cartridge and stylus will be shipped double boxed and mailed via USPS Ground Advantage.

We have here is a type 3 v15 with a pfeifer sag 10526 or the vn35e A few things to note This cartridge has been super glued to the dual sled The sled is new I will include the stylus even though it’s not true straight as you can see in the pictures. Adding a pfeifer sga 10526 stylus that I found while organizing will add pics later A few issues are the original clips were broken so the cartridge was super glued to the sled. The sled is a new aftermarket one. The screw holes on the body were mangled so super glue was the only way to use it. My plan was to buy a woody body for it but it works fine this way. Stylus is a shure vn35he in pretty good condition. Im putting my dual on the back burner for a minutes while I get a better preamp reason for selling the type iii. Please look at the pictures before bidding. Thank you.
