Jai essayé un Tonar Hyperelliptical sur le M91 et jai trouvé que ce système de micro avait beaucoup à offrir avec un bon stylet, de bons détails et une bonne scène sonore et un son percutant. Cependant, le contrôle de qualité Tonar nest pas le meilleur, alors jai fini par le retourner et acheter un Black Diamond à la place. Je peux seulement dire : Waouh ! Cette combinaison en fait lune des expériences les plus agréables que jai jamais eues en jouant du vinyle. Il a des médiums, des médiums et plus de médiums créant une grande présence gigantesque et une dynamique explosive couplée à un gros médium-grave pour couronner le tout. (les stylets simples ne capturent pas toujours parfaitement la sibilance, avec les meilleurs stylets, les aigus sont un peu plus frais, ce qui peut conduire à une approche similaire) Avec une capacité dentrée plus élevée et une résistance plus élevée (100pF plus câble/100kOhm ou plus), le son passe à plus daigus. Ces micros sont assez résistants au bourdonnement des moteurs ou des transformateurs ! Avec le bon stylet, il y a beaucoup à aimer dans cette cartouche. SME Shure 3012 Tone Arm acquired from the estate of an audiophile. This tone arm and its required weights, etc. were packed away in a box. Original cable with multiplug and RCA plugs/ground is included. I noticed that the back part of the tone arm which holds the weight and is attached by a piece of rubber is starting to disintegrate. So, the back of the tone arm that holds the weight feels a little loose due to the weak rubber connection. Thats the best way I can explain this flaw. This came off a working Thorens table which has now been sold. Its in fantastic condition and will be well packaged or can be picked up from Kingston upon Thames KT1. They share the same generator, so the styli would be interchangeable with no cosmetic differences. Since NOS needles are currently almost impossible to find, these differences no longer matter. I once tried an M75 with an original Shure tapered needle and to be honest I didnt understand what it was all about. Dark, very unrolled in the highs, muted dynamics, basically a pretty boring sound. I always thought I couldnt hear anything with this pickup. Then I was offered an M91 with a cheap aftermarket elliptical stylus. I played it once and quickly realized that the needle was of dubious quality at best. I tried a Tonar Hyperelliptical on the M91 and found this pickup system had a lot to offer with a good stylus, good detail and soundstage and a punchy sound. However, the Tonar-quality control isnt the best, so I ended up returning it and buying a Black Diamond instead. I can only say: Wow! This combination makes for one of the most enjoyable experiences Ive ever had playing vinyl. It has mids, mids and more mids creating a big, gigantic presence and explosive dynamics coupled with a big mid-bass to top it all off. The voices should sound completely wrong given that description, but instead they sound surprisingly sweet. Its always very powerful and exciting, but never aggressive. This is really a special combination. The highs are still unrolled, but you dont really miss them, because the M91 is really fun to play. Of course hes not perfect - far from it. The frequency response is not nearly as neutral. If it comes from a modern pickup, it might even sound a little equalized. But he sounds so good that it doesnt really matter. This character works wonders on bad recordings and pressings, filtering out the noise and letting the music through. Depending on the stylus, the M91/75 sounds really good. The basses are pronounced, the trebles are slightly weakened. (not so much with the elliptical needles) The overall sound is relaxed and warm. (simple styli dont always capture sibilance perfectly, with the better styli the highs are a bit fresher, which can lead to a similar approach) With higher input capacitance and higher resistance (100pF plus cable/100kOhm or more) the sound changes to more treble. Attachez-le à un Telefunken pour le tester et laissez-le conduire contre un original Excel 700. Et ce nest vraiment pas mal, cest considéré comme un tuyau dinitié, avec une coupe elliptique. Elle devait clairement prendre ses distances. Donc vraiment une expérience de remplacement comme je nen ai jamais eu auparavant. Puis-je en avoir dautres, sil vous plait…. DESCRIPTION DU PRODUIT:  Conclusion : Amusement vintage pur avec un gros son explosif. Les Shure M75 et M91 sont des cellules très similaires. Ils partagent le même générateur, de sorte que les stylets seraient interchangeables sans différences esthétiques. Étant donné que les aiguilles NOS sont actuellement presque impossibles à trouver, ces différences nont plus dimportance. Une fois, jai essayé un M75 avec une aiguille conique Shure dorigine et pour être honnête, je nai pas compris de quoi il sagissait. Sombre, très déroulé dans les aigus, dynamique en sourdine, au fond un son assez ennuyeux. Jai toujours pensé que je nentendais rien avec ce micro. Ensuite, on ma proposé un M91 avec un stylet elliptique bon marché. Jy ai joué une fois et jai vite réalisé que laiguille était au mieux de qualité douteuse. Jai essayé un Tonar Hyperelliptical sur le M91 et jai trouvé que ce système de micro avait beaucoup à offrir avec un bon stylet, de bons détails et une bonne scène sonore et un son percutant. Cependant, le contrôle de qualité Tonar nest pas le meilleur, alors jai fini par le retourner et acheter un Black Diamond à la place. Je peux seulement dire : Waouh ! Cette combinaison en fait lune des expériences les plus agréables que jai jamais eues en jouant du vinyle. Il a des médiums, des médiums et plus de médiums créant une grande présence gigantesque et une dynamique explosive couplée à un gros médium-grave pour couronner le tout. Les voix devraient sonner complètement fausses compte tenu de cette description, mais au lieu de cela, elles sonnent étonnamment douces. Cest toujours très puissant et excitant, mais jamais agressif. Cest vraiment une combinaison spéciale. Les aigus sont toujours déroulés, mais vous ne les manquez pas vraiment, car le M91 est vraiment amusant à jouer. Bien sûr, il nest pas parfait, loin de là. La réponse en fréquence nest pas aussi neutre. Sil provient dun micro moderne, il peut même sembler un peu égalisé. Mais il sonne si bien que cela na pas vraiment dimportance. Ce personnage fait des merveilles sur les mauvais enregistrements et pressages, filtrant le bruit et laissant passer la musique. Selon le stylet, le M91/75 sonne vraiment bien. Les basses sont prononcées, les aigus sont légèrement affaiblis. (pas tellement avec les aiguilles elliptiques) Le son général est détendu et chaleureux. (les stylets simples ne capturent pas toujours parfaitement la sibilance, avec les meilleurs stylets, les aigus sont un peu plus frais, ce qui peut conduire à une approche similaire) Avec une capacité dentrée plus élevée et une résistance plus élevée (100pF plus câble/100kOhm ou plus), le son passe à plus daigus. Ces micros sont assez résistants au bourdonnement des moteurs ou des transformateurs ! Avec le bon stylet, il y a beaucoup à aimer dans cette cartouche. Cest une sauvegarde parfaite et parfois une soirée parfaite. Je lapprécie plus que certains micros haut de gamme. Achetez-en un bon marché si vous le pouvez, vous ne le regretterez pas. La célèbre dynamique et la basse légendaire ont transformé bien des rondes de vieillards tristes en soirées légendaires ! Complete 1970s turntable, complete with the dust cover, box, SME Series II Improved arm and a contemporary Shure cartridge with a good stylus. It comes with the manuals for turntable and arm and its generally in very good condition. There is some corrosion on the arm in the form of light pitting in places but its not obvious and looks more like spots of dust. It has a fairly recent belt and has no trouble reaching 45RPM. Theres still some glue in the top lefthand corner where a dust sweeping brush was mounted. Perhaps the best solution would be to put another one there. Ive got one somewhere, let me know if youd like it. Relisted due to non-communicating, non-paying bidder. Made in Germany to Swiss specifications this Thorens TD-125 turntable is an exquisite piece of vintage Hi Fi. It belonged to my late husband, a Hi Fi enthusiast, and is being sold because of the need to downsize to a much smaller home.The turntable, which has been described as Thorens’ “flagship” model, is in working order. It comes with its original cover, original instruction booklet and service manual. All are in very good condition considering that theThorens TD-125 first saw the light of day in 1968. As the successor to the earlier TD-124 model, it has been said that the TD-125 provided the refinement needed to accommodatethe stereo cartridges that were emerging at that time. This model is fitted with a SME Supertrack arm and Shure Supertrack Plus cartridge.

Heres an S.M.E 3009 Tonearm Head Shell that I used as a spare on my Pioneer PL12 Turntable - its a perfect fit!Complete with a Shure M75ED Cartridge - stylus hardly used!Tested and working fine on my Pioneer!Excellent condition.

THORENS TD 124 /II TURNTABLE, SME ARM & SHURE V15 TYPE II CARTRIDGE. Spare head with Shure V15 cartridge plus original SME head. The stylus is a new JICO one and has played no more than 8 sides of LP. Enamelling is generally immaculate except for one patch (difficult to photograph - see photo 3). The strobe light does not work. A new bulb (£28.00!) has been fitted and the existing components checked, but the lamp still does not come on. Wood plinth, but no lid. The SME arm is a delicate piece of equipment, so I would not pack this item for carrying. Personal pick up only, depending on distance. I am prepared to travel a reasonable distance to help. The deck has been mounted on a plinth for years, so I havent mounted it back into the box. I havent had any problems but it could probably use some new mounting bushes.
